There’s a unique charm to seeing an artist known for her chart-topping choruses and festival stage scene step into a venue as intimate as The Fleece. For one night in Bristol, Sigrid transformed the historic room into something closer to a living room: warm, genuine, and full of heart.

The show marked the start of Sigrid's UK in-store tour in support of her new album, 'There’s Always More That I Could Say'. Tickets disappeared almost instantly, and by the time she arrived on stage, the 450-capacity venue was packed shoulder-to-shoulder. The crowd was super diverse; it was a joy to see, from teens singing along to every lyric to older fans who had followed her since Sucker Punch. It was a rare blend of generations sharing a single energy, all buzzing with anticipation to hear her new material live for the very first time.

Stripped of big lights and production, Sigrid let her vocals and personality do the heavy lifting. Her voice, so confident and powerful, filled the room with ease, carrying both the sweetness and strength that have defined her sound since her breakthrough. The acoustic arrangements gave songs a new intimacy, where the album leans into a pop polish. Here in the room, they felt raw, emotional, and unguarded. The set balanced familiar favourites and songs from the new Album. Each new track seemed to grow in real time as she performed, the audience responding instinctively, clapping, swaying, and hanging on every lyric. There was something beautiful about watching her reintroduce herself to fans through this quieter, more vulnerable lens.

Between songs, Sigrid’s easy charm came to the forefront. She chatted openly with the audience, laughing at shouted comments and even taking spontaneous questions, at one point responding with a grin when someone called out, “What song’s going to be the next music video?” It was a simple moment, but it captured the tone of the night perfectly: spontaneous, honest, and deeply human. There was no separation; everyone shared the experience of joy, curiosity, and mutual admiration. Sigrid’s humility was striking; despite her global success, she performed with the same sincerity as if it were her first open mic. She was so happy to be in the room and constantly had a smile on her face, full of joy.Vocally, she was amazing. Every note rang clear and controlled, yet carried a raw edge that’s often lost in larger venues. Her delivery moved effortlessly from soft vulnerability to soaring choruses, and the audience erupted in cheers as each song ended.

As the evening drew to a close, Sigrid thanked the crowd with visible emotion, calling Bristol “the perfect place to start this new chapter.” A moment that summed up her warmth perfectly, she popped her head outside in the rain to say hello to fans waiting by the back door, waving, smiling, and taking a few final photos before disappearing into the night.

Sigrid’s in-store show at The Fleece wasn’t about perfection or production; it was about connection. In a short, stripped-back set, she reminded everyone that great pop music doesn’t just fill arenas, it fills rooms, hearts, and moments like these.
