Punk rockers The Molotovs played to a sold-out crowd at the iconic 100 Club in London to celebrate their newly released debut album “Wasted On Youth”. The album has seen critical acclaim with a modern take on Mod-revival indebted to indie rock. This show formed part of a debut tour which has seen the band play across the country to support both the album and these vital record stores. Demand has reached such a height that stores have struggled to keep up with demand!

Kicking off the proceedings were the retro stylings of The Forty Fours. Their 60’s styled rock felt at home in a venue steeped in such history, and this was reflected in the toe-tapping boogie throughout the crowd.

With the audience thoroughly warmed up, The Molotovs made their way to the stage through a chorus of cheers. Playing a finely crafted set of fan favourites, the band displayed their usual on-stage vivacity which has seen them cultivate a growing following for their incendiary live shows.

Rousing rockers like “More More More” and “Get a Life” delivered adrenaline shots to the crowd until the sweaty confines of the venue felt like they were shaking under the fervour of their collective revelry.

The excitement of the evening was driven even higher as the band announced that they are in the running to debut at Number 1 in the UK album charts.

Throughout, it felt like the band represented a unity between the collective groups in the audience. As their broad range of inspirations wove a tapestry of guitar rock that united generations and genres into something that felt new.

With a final bow, the band wholeheartedly thanked the audience for their support and left the stage, having thoroughly rocked the fans in attendance. As the crowd continued their cheers and chants, it turned out they didn’t have to wait much longer for more as the band announced plans for a major tour in the next chapter of their rock and roll story.
