Alessi Rose’s Glasgow gig on 30 November was one of those nights that stay with you long after the lights come up. In a venue packed shoulder-to-shoulder, anticipation waved through the air even before she stepped onto the stage. By the end of the show, that same room was buzzing with the certainty that something truly special had taken place.

The evening opened with a wonderful set from Deyyess, whose arrival onstage was met with warm curiosity that quickly shifted into breath-held attention.                                      Deyyess is one of those performers who can command a room without ever raising her voice. Her indie-pop sound built on small beats, gentle textures, and vocals that cut cleanly through the mix, created a mood that was both seductive and emotionally intense. Her set flowed with smoothness each track poured seamlessly into the next.

Midway through, she danced to the beat before planting a passionate kiss on her drummer who is also her girlfriend sending the crowd into delighted cheers. Her voice, delicate but controlled, held its grip on the room until the final note. By the time she stepped offstage, the tone for the entire night had been beautifully set.

When Alessi Rose finally appeared, the shift in energy was instant. As a fan, there was something  about the way the audience reacted to pure excitement. Phones lifted, cheers erupted, and the room burst into song before she’d even sung a word.                           Her presence onstage is instantly striking, warm, confident, and effortless. Throughout the entire evening, her voice remained flawless, smooth, and capable of rising or softening at exactly the right moments.                                                                      Alessi led the crowd through a setlist that ranged from tearful ballads to bright pop, with slower songs perfect for late-night walks and deep feelings. Each track landed with intent, every lyric allowed the space to resonate.

Her versatility felt far beyond that of an up-and-coming artist. She shifted from joy to somber with ease, and even the newer, lesser-known songs were met with a passion that filled the room. Fans, myself very much included, shouted the familiar choruses as if they’d been waiting months for this moment.

Between songs, Alessi kept the atmosphere grounded with casual conversations. She shared short stories, flashes of her personality, and genuine gratitude that dissolved any barrier between performer and audience.                                                                        It’s one thing to sing beautifully, it's another to make a venue full of people feel personally seen. Alessi managed both.

The closing song was the emotional peak of the night. The crowd’s voices lifted to meet hers, rising into a powerful song. As the final note faded, the applause was instant, overwhelming, and utterly deserved. Alessi left the stage not just as a performer, but as an artist who had fully captured the heart of the room.

A fantastic night from start to finish, Alessi Rose’s Glasgow show was beautifully delivered, emotionally rich, and genuinely fun. Deyyess crafted a stunning opening set, and Alessi Rose followed with a headline performance that showcased her range, her honesty, and her unmistakable star potential.
