Bloodstock 2026 unleashes 27 new bands for its 25th anniversary chaos
The cauldron is boiling over: Bloodstock Festival has just dropped a massive 27-band announcement for its upcoming 25th anniversary edition, set to take place at Catton Park, Derbyshire from 6-9 August 2026.
With early bird, campervan and VIP tickets already gone and weekend passes over 90% sold already, the silver anniversary is shaping up to be the heaviest party of the summer. This new batch of bands released today turns up the volume up to eleven.
Thursday is now officially go-time on the main stage with British heavy metal royalty Saxon igniting the weekend. They will be joined by EVIL SCARECROW and HEAVYSAURUS, stomping from the Sophie Lancaster Stage straight into the Ronnie James Dio stage. Friday will bring SKYND, PARTY CANNON and BATTLESNAKE, whilst Saturday brings London’s newcomers Inhuman Nature. Sunday is no joke either, as Canadian alt-metal icons Kittie are making their long-awaited debut overseas.
The 27-strong bands are joining an already colossal lineup:
Main Stage headliners – Lamb of God, Slaughter to Prevail and Judas Priest
Sophie Lancaster headliners – Cryptopsy, Wednesday 13, Leprous and Carpenter Brut
Plus: Sepultura, Municipal Waste, Death Angel, Northlane, Bleed From Within, Orbit Culture, Of Mice & Men, Biohazard, Shining, Nevermore – and many more to be revealed, with around 125 bands total set to perform.
Bloodstock has also revealed that the 2025 festival raised an incredible ~£14,000 for charity partners Metal For Good and The Sophie Lancaster Foundation. Guest and media donations and the legendary T-shirt Amnesty boosted the pot, while extra tips, spin-to-win games and the bar contributions saw Alan Shepherd round up the total to an extra £2,000 for Sophie’s Foundation.
Weekend tickets are almost gone — so grab yours from the official Bloodstock ticket store now, and help celebrate a quarter century of pure UK metal mayhem.
